Mass upload images into your posts with just a few clicks.The plugin is a time saver for any webmaster that regularly posts images on his blog.
Mass Upload Wizz gives you the possibility to mass upload images from your computer and bulk insert them into posts. After upload and insert the pictures can also be manipulated using the WordPress media library.
***How does it work?***
After you install and activate the plugin a small orange icon will appear in the post editor (TinyMCE).
- just click it ,
- select the images to be uploaded (you can select multiple images at a time by holding the CTR key pressed while you select the pictures with the mouse )
- then click upload and insert. The plugin will preserve original image size.

There something I don’t understant with your plugin. What’s the difference with the flash uploader integrated in WP ???
With the flash uploader you upload the images into the media library and then you can select images one by one to introduce them into the post.
Our plugin enables you to upload the images into the post and the media library the same time. It’s much faster to do it this way if you use lots of images into a post.

Hello there, this plug in sounds amazing! Need it soooo bad.
But I cant see to get the small orange symbol or word TinyMCE (that your talking about in your instructions) to appear in the editor. The plugin is installed fine and says its active.
I am using the latest wordpress tho. 3.0.1

Where is the little orange dot to load images?
I looked on the post screen and can’t find it.
Check the picture below to see where the button it’s suppose to be. Also the button is active only on visual mode.

Hi there – great plugin – a few suggestions:
- start uploading the files immediately after you select them
- Visual: Put the buttons at the top so that users with smaller screens will always see them
- Visual: start uploading from the top-down. If you have many images and press upload it looks like it is not doing anything!
- Usability: would it be possible to add the mass uploader button to the regular wordpress image upload window or next to the upload / insert buttons?
Question – does this plugin obey the image size limits from wordpress?

Regarding the size limits – the wordpress media sizes that wordpress sets by default – does this plugin generate the thumb, medium and large image sizes? Would be great so it could fit in nicely with a multitude of different themes and plugins…

The plugin does not create any thumbnails… he use the picture at the original size.
how can I remove the additional name or rename a file that has been auto generated? (Ex: my original file name: image123 become 299752image123)
When I click on the orange box, small pop up opens but it doesn’t show directory on my site, it shows my site in that small window and I can’t choose pictures.

I use this pluguin on 2 blogs, the first one work good but te second don’t work. i recivied a msg “http error”. the script upload a img for the folder massupload but dont insert the tag on TinyMCE.
I am using the 1.0 version. i try download your new version here but the file is corrupted.

This is a great idea for a plugin, Unforch I cannot get it to work. When I click the Upload and instert button, I get a HTTP: error message and no upload.. Oddly, the upload shows 100%, then the http: error comes up and the bar turns red. Any suggestions, solutions?
This will be fixed in the next release.

howdy, I love the concept of this plug in. Maybe you could tell me what I am doing wrong. I did a mass DL of about 12 pics.I could see them being added with the broken link icon as they went. When it was done with all of them, those little icons went away. All the downloads were on the HTML page, but nothing on the visual page. Any ideas> current version of WP

I created the file /wp-content/uploads/massupload and set it to 777, but the plug in still does not work… I get the same error message “http error” Any other suggestions… fixes?

Do you do any custom programming? I want to customize this plugin to do a couple of things for our blog… let me know if you might be interested in this … should be pretty straight forward/easy. Love the plugin!

I am so happy to find this plugin! It is very useful for a trip writter and baby-diary writter. Works well! (Just hope you can add more installation in the plug-in description. such like ‘create a folder under your ‘uploads’ and name it as massupload…

Hi Michael!What a pitty that you don’t nourish your very own pliugn-baby any longer. The more because version 2.0.303 works quite good with wp 2.7 and much more stable as every gallery-tool which is known to wp-user. Because I use it in many a post I hope it will not completely starve. Would be great if your heart would develop some compassion for your digital offspring sooner or later .
